Pramface, call me.

The song that started as a radio skit and ended up as a club banger!
Pramface spies have reported support from: Loose Cannons, Annie Mac, Paul
Epworth, Erol Alkan, Tommie Sunshine, Touche and MSTRKRFT!

It all started when Dave 'Switch' Taylor left a drunk answerphone message. Boy 8 bit made a track about it sampling that very same message. Best feature: Switch saying what time it is and the machine proving him dead wrong. Check the myspace for more

Pramface (Extended) - Boy 8-Bit

Bonus: Round Table knights - Hold me back (The Bulgarian remix)

Hijack

This week not a weekend soundtrack but a weekend mix. Done by one of our favourite producers: Sir Hijack. Buy Buy Buy Buy

Unfortunately we have yet to find a tracklist but it will certainly do the job of getting you in that weekend party mood just fine.
Hijack April Promo Mix.
While you're here, take a good look at our lay-out because we'll be updating it soon.

Crookers x Bloody Beetroots x Mr Oizo x Tittsworth

Summer is really starting to kick in here. Apart from all the wonderfullness it brings (mainly sunny weather) it has a downside aswell. Don't get me wrong though, I love how those dark rainy days are behind me as much as the next man but they were good for one thing. Underground electro parties go hand in hand with wintertime.

When summer hits, like it or not, you're going to be hanging out at the beach with a cold beer and some housetunes on the background. Luckily Holland is not known for 6 months of sun. Let's hope we'll get plenty of rain this summer so our electro records don't get dusty.

Now, when it comes to good electro remixes old classic rock or metal is probably the way to go. The number #1 dj duo proving my point.

A track that good usually makes you ask for more and we'll be happy to oblige:
Tell your friends.

Mnml update

First track we got for you is made by one of our favourite producers Riva Starr.
If youre watching (even though this aint myspace), send us some promo's over and we'll gladly host em.

Like I said earlier: I know this guy fom his fidget tracks but I'm starting to digg his minimalsound. It has kind of an edge to it, not your average latenight minimal track.
Riva Starr - Jack my bell
Riva Starr - La Conga (Dj Tool)
His music is available at beatport and Juno

Also, the classic track 'The big kazoo' has been redone by the relatively unknown nacho lovers.

Noise porn.

Noise Porn was launched in 2008 as a showcase for underground dance music.
It focuses on breaks, electro and house, but also covers techno, dnb, grime,
dubstep, drum & bass and hiphop.

Fidget comes first and I would think Noise Porn agrees with me. Big up to him for representing us in his impressive blogroll list. Great blog for fidget-lovers (it's where we get some of our tunes from).

Past and Present.

We really didn't want it to come to this. Initially our plan was not to post anything regarding WMC since were not really into that scene HOWEVER, festival season is upon us starting with 'Koninginnedag' for us Dutch folk where Amsterdam is just overflowing with partypeople and this is getting us in the mood.

Since I'm lacking creativity right now I thought I'd share with you a video that totally represents summer for me. Ironically this video was made at the miami winter music conference but no matter.

This next video was made at the 2008 edition and it seems that Toolroom Record boss mister Knight is consistent in making a crowd go apeshit.

As if the original wasn't good enough already.

Most of you probably have heard of this years French contestant for the Eurovision Songfestival Sebastien Tellier. His song 'Divine' was featured all over the internationally known blogs and now even french producer Danger and Midnight Juggernauts have released their versions. Check them out and tell us which you like best.

Mystery Jets/Erol Alkan/Switch

There was a time when Switch was almost all I was listening to. This man is an absolute legend when it comes to music. His newest collaboration is with Erol Alkan and Mystery Jets who aren't new to the scene either. This is what they ended up with. Awesome track, brilliant video.

Viewers mail

First of all: apologies to Jeff. We promised we would post his minimix earlier but we didn't get around to it.

We got ahold of his minimix a while back along with a friendly note from Jeff Doubleu himself. It's a fidget/dirty house type of minimix which we quite like. It's the kind of music you listen to as you're getting ready to celebrate your weekend. Put together very well, bang on at some points even. Keep checking the blog because we'll have some more promo's from this guy soon.
Also Dane has sent us another one of his mix editions he made for a DJ contest.

Leroysevenfive from the french DJ duo 'Tuff Wheelz' gave us their new track:

Amigos de la Prensa:

We got some fidget for you

This first track was featured on many blogs a while back along with the bulgarian remix. I like the andy george n jaks remix better but give me a shout if you need that bulgarian edit.

Then there's a preview to Nic Sarno's 'Elephant EP' released on Hijack's 'Jack Union Recordings' label:

Buy that hefty EP here

Also, you'll find that our myspace has been improved since the last time we mentioned it. Feel free to leave a message!

DON'T FORGET

Wednesday, 2 April 2008

Got mail.

Le Castle Vania was lieing when he said he stumbled across our blog. Getting in touch with this blog is no coincidence but he's forgiven. Some background info on this dude:
This guy did Winter Music Conference in Miami recently. An event every selfrespecting electronic music lover has heard about.
He's got a myspace we can only dream about.
He's making some nice tunes and he's working on a project called 'Lies In Disguise'.

He sent us his latest work for all to download:
Kill The Noise - Hey You (Le Castle Vania Remix)
Toxic Avenger - Poker Face (Lies In Disguise Remix)
Check his myspace out

We also recieved word, yet again, from Apollokiddz. This time he got hold of Spektral's edit of the Boys Noize track 'Let's buy happiness'.
Boys Noize - Lets buy happiness (Spektral edited the proxy remix).
