It just happend

Checking my email this morning I realised that neglecting our inbox for a week is not acceptable. I had no idea there was so much news and music just waiting there for me to open. We'll be sharing all we've gotten in the comming week(s).

One email in particular bothers me; we totally forgot to inform you on the massive Genesis edition last friday. None other then the boys from beesmunt, the walk, roger72 AND Diplo were there and for that we apologise.

Last weekend was somewhat of an eyeopener for me. We went to see Feadz perform at the patronaat where he surprised me by playing mostly baltimore remixes. I had always associated feadz with the Ed banger crew so I expected he'd play more electro tracks then he did. No matter though, lately I've really been getting into baltimore anyways.
One of the names you come to find when looking for this type of music is Dj Sega's.
This man will turn pretty much any track into a baltimore hit.

It's rainy, it's windy, people are not as cheerfull anymore and beach parties are long behind us. To me that equals only 1 thing; Techyes and minimal season has started again and those sleazy underground parties are around the corner. There's something about it that just makes it go great with crappy weather in my opinion.
We will keep you posted on everything that has to do with fidget and/or electro but I'll throw in a techy track every now and then just because I feel it goes with stormy weather.

First update for this season features 2 very worthy tracks from London producers Italoboyz. 1 of their own and 1 remixed by german dj and producer Samim.

Mars vs blaqstar

Most of you have heard of the Mars track by Fake Blood. Some of youmight have it in their Itunes libraries others will just notice when they hear it at a club. The release for this track was highly anticipated a while ago and everyone was anxiously awaiting. Some people were actually so impressed with the track that they posted the full quality track on the internet. I don't know, I'd be flattered but I can imagine beeing ticked off about not selling as many copies as I would've hoped for.
Just go see one of his shows to make up for it.

Well anyway, Andy George figured it was time to bring new life to the Mars track and decided to use it in one of his mashups. Good on you Andy, 'tis a fine mashup.

I know not everyone out there is a baltimore fan. Some say when you've heard one track you've heard em all. I agree on some level. I wouldn't want to find myself clubbing to an entire night of b-more tracks and remixes but a little baltimore every now and then never hurt anyone and it goes along nicely with fidget.

This weekend we went to Amsterdams 'Sugar Factory' and even though a mash-up of electro and fidget was the theme of the evening dj 'Sammy..something' (sorry) threw in this little b-more gem and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. All in all a wicked evening by the way.

I have to be honest with you guys, not often does a track come by that completely blows me away.
This one does.

Appearantly I haven't been paying much attention because someone told me this track was hyped a while back and I'm just catching up. L-Vis 1990 might not be a name you had heard before but you'll be hearing it more and more in the near future I reckon. Got my hand on 2 of his tracks a couple of days ago and I'm stunned. People who've been reading the blogs lately know that South rakkas crew - mad again has been remixed endlessly. Another version to add to that long list is a bootleg done by one of our favourites: Scott Cooper. This one certainly has that little bit extra.

That long awaited moment is here yet again. It will come as no surprise to our loyal readers, we never miss a friday-weekend-soundtrack post.
First track has been featured in many of our previously posted mixes for good reason. I don't think I have to tell you how mental a crowd will go when you put this one on full blast. BOBOBOBO!

Fidget madness!

Foamo is a name you need to keep an eye out for because this guy is going to make it big. Ordinarily I don't really like putting up mixtapes unless I've been asked to do so. This time is different. Some of these mixtapes (just like the previous crookers mixtapes) are special and will most definetly be brightening up your ipod for some time.

We'll confess, we have been a bit inactive but can you really blame us? We've got our country to support in any way possible during these weeks of sportivity. Who would've thought that the Netherlands would beat the 2006 world championship finalists that easily?

Now, what we could do is post some heavy dutch hits to go with the mood but I doubt Wolter Kroes or Het welpenlied would really be fancied by anyone here. So I'm gonna go with minimal on this one:

Don't know what I can tell you about this first track here. Just some funky minimal to enjoy, preferably at a sunny outdoor event.
